SRINAGAR: Two time Panthers Party legislator Balwant Singh Mankotia Wednesday resigned from the basic membership of the party.
Mankotia, a resident of Udhampur, had made his entry in the J&K legislative assembly twice and was presently president of the Panthers Party.
Mankotia took to social media site Facebook and uploaded a video, announcing resignation from the party.
“I am doing this in a personal capacity. I resign from all the chairs as well as membership of the party,” he said.
A veteran political leader of Jammu province, Mankotia also appealed Panther’s party patron Bhim Singh to let party chairman Harsh Dev Singh to carry forth all the tasks of the party as he is capable to do so. (KNO)
