Alleging senior congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Saif ul din Soz of submitting false affidavits in connection of their properties, Panthers party has decided to file corruption petitions against the former J&K chief minister and state congress president.

“Congress leaders, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Saif ul din Soz have filed false affidavits before the Election Commission of India and in the Parliament in connection with their properties they and their family members are holding,” a Panthers party statement alleged.

The state ment said that a meeting of the JKNPP Secretariat was held in Jammu, on Monday, which has decided to file corruption petitions against named “corrupt ministers” including Union Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Prof. Saifudin Soz in the Supreme Court of India.

“The Secretariat has authorized Prof Bhim Singh, who is also Sr Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, to move appropriate petitions against the senior Congress leaders,” the statement said.

As per the statement Congress leaders have grabbed state land within the Municipal limits in Jammu and Srinagar Corporations under the most fraudulent law called ‘Roshni Act’ which was enacted during the Chief Minister ship of Ghulam Nabi Azad.

The statement added that the party has received scores of representations from the persons victimized under the Roshni Act and the name of Senior Congress leaders who have grabbed the Forest Land also.

“It was not just one Tara Chand alone in the dustbin of corruption. Half a dozen of state ministers including Congress Ministers and the Central Ministers own properties beyond the limits of their income and they have been using power umbrella by wearing the Congress clothing for the past 60 years,” the statement said.

The Party said that it has collected enough material in connection with the illegal properties raised by the state Congress & National Conference leaders to seek a judicial probe against the corrupt ministers in the State and the Centre to expose and depose them from power so that state becomes corruption free.
