SRINAGAR: TATA AIA Life Insurance Company Limited presents the PARAS Scholarship Programme 2023-24, supporting the education of meritorious and underprivileged students. The application process is online. The last date to apply is December 15, 2023.
The scholarship offers one-time support of up to Rs 25,000 to first-year students in graduation, post-graduation or PG diploma in professional fields including Commerce, Economics, Banking, Insurance, Management, Data Science, Statistics, Risk Management, and related areas.
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates should have acquired minimum 50 per cent marks in the previous class/semester. Annual family income should not exceed Rs 5 lakh. The programme is open for students from across India.
Candidates who are children of TATA AIA and Buddy4Study employees are not eligible to apply. Preference will be given to economically backward students, SC, ST, PwD, and girls.There will be a special consideration for COVID-affected students.
The documents required for the application are passport-size photographs, attested mark sheet, college admission proof, proof of identity and address, family income proof, caste certificate (if applicable), bank details, statement of purpose, crisis document, and disability certificate (if applicable).
