Literary grouping Adbee Markar Kamraz (AMK) has expressed shock over the accident at Srinagar-Baramulla highway in which six people lost their precious lives.
“AMK expresses solidarity with the bereaved families particularly with the family of Hakeem Ghulam Nabi Dar alias Ibn Ismaiel who happens to be a renowned Author, Poet and Editor Bazm-e-Adab (a literary Mazgazine),” the statement reads.
Calling for adopting stringent measures to contain the growing number of fatalities on the roads AMK spokesperson said the authorities need to come out with concrete measures and a road safety plan throughout the state. The spokesman wished speedy recovery to those injured and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
