SRINAGAR: The government of Scotland is offering a partially funded scholarship known as the ‘Saltire Scholarship’ for the academic year 2024-2025, enabling students to pursue a Master’s degree in Scotland.

The scholarship covers various fields including Computers, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Multimedia and Information, Software and Systems Engineering, Biofuels/Biomass, and Renewable energy sources, among others, for a duration of two years.

The application process is set to commence soon, with the deadline for submissions being May 31, 2024.

Candidates from India, Canada, Japan, the United States, Pakistan, or China, who have completed their Bachelor’s degree from a country other than Scotland, are eligible to apply.

Successful candidates will receive a total fellowship amounting to £8000 (approximately 8,46,384 INR), and may also explore opportunities to secure additional funding from Scotland’s academic and corporate sectors for supplementary expenses.

Required documents for the scholarship application include a CV/resume, academic transcripts, an experience certificate, a valid Passport, and an English proficiency certificate.
