Several areas of Chenab valley including Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Ramban and Banihal are reeling under severe power crisis for last 24 hours after 132 KV tower near Samroli developed a technical snag.
Though the men and machinery of PDD were on the job, the fault has not been resolved yet as a result of which a huge population will remain without power for at least next 24 hours, local sources said.
Executive Engineer, TLMD Udhampur informed that power supply in the entire belt will be restored by tomorrow evening.
