Incarcerated chairman, of Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), Shabir Shah has expressed deep shock and grief over the passing away of Mufti Azam Mufti Bashir ul Din Ahmad Farooqi. Shabir Shah has termed the passing away of Mufti Azam as a huge loss.
The spokesman quoting Shabir Shah, who is imprisoned at Tihar Jail said that Mufti Azam Mufti Bashir ul Din worked for unity among Muslims throughout his life. Shah said that Mufti Azam Mufti Bashir ul Din will always be remembered for the positive role he played in social and religious fields.
Shabir Shah expressed solidarity with the bereaved and prayed for the departed soul. He said that late Mufti Azam was very close to him and his passing away is his personal loss.
