SRINAGAR: A PDD lineman from central Kashmir’s Budgam district who fell from an electric pole at Rajpora area of Pulwama district 11 days ago, died at a hospital on Saturday, officials said.
Quoting officials news agency GNS reported that Bashir Ahmad of Yusmarg, 50, was admitted to the hospital after falling from an electric pole at Sikloo Rajpora in Pulwama district.
A doctor at SMHS hospital here confirmed the death of Bashir Ahmad after remaining in ICU for all these days with a serious head injury.
The lineman’s death has left his family including five daughters and a son in distress.
