SRINAGAR: A Power Development Department (PDD) worker was injured on Sunday after suffering an electric shock in the Nowshera area of Srinagar, officials said.
An official said that the worker, identified as Bashir Ahmad Sofi (38), a resident of Ganderbal, was critically injured in the incident.
He was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the incident has been initiated, officials added. (KNO)
