Peoples Democratic party (PDP) expressed deep shock and grief over a tragic accident in which its senior party worker and former municipal council chairman Chrar I sharief Nazir Ahmad Kawa, district organizing secretary Budgam district and two other party workers Ahtisham and Tasaduq Ahmad were killed.
A santro car carrying all these three persons was hit at Digdool Ramban by a land slide causing their death on spot this morning.
In a statement party president Mehbooba Mufti and general secretary Mohammad Dilawar Mir have expressed their deep shock and grief over the accident. Conveying their condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families the two leaders termed Nazir Kawa as dedicated political worker and said that he had done a lot for the party and has contributed for the betterment of people. Kawa would be remembered for long, the leaders said.
Among other leaders who expressed their shock over the accident and convey their condolences include, Governor, chief minister, and other senior party leaders of PDP Muzaffar Hussain Beig, Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari, Tariq Hameed Karra, Sartaj Madni , Ab Rehman Veeri, Mohd Khalil Bandh, Syed Basharat Bukhari, Syed Bashir Ah, Ab Razaq Zawoora, Javaid Mustafa Mir, Dr Mohd Shafi, GH Nabi Lone Hanjura, Aga Syed Mehmood, Saifudin Bhat District President, Mohd Ashraf Mir MLC, Nazir Ah Yatoo Youth General Secretary and others.
