Barely a week after the death of its patron and former Chief Minister, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is ‘off’ from online world.
PDP had last year launched its online portal www.jkpdp.org. The website featured the PDP’s ‘Vision’ document, the profiles of its members, the setup of the party, and other day-to-day activities.
The home page of PDP was full of pictures revolving round the public meetings of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his daughter, Mehbooba Mufti.
The situation which emerged after the death of senior most unionist politician and former CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the web portal of PDP had witnessed an apparent rush, essentially by the media corps to file their stories.
As Kashmir Life newsroom too logged on to the website on Wednesday, the account had already been suspended. However, when this newsroom was in need of the content which revolved around the life and times of late Mufti last week, the website was alive, albeit, not updated.
