After holding Naeem Akhtar responsible for present ‘disorder’ in People’s Democratic Party, the legislator from Zadibal Constituency in Srinagar Abid Hussain Ansari Monday said that if PDP will be decimated in coming Parliament and next Assembly elections, the reason will be Pirzada Mansoor Hussain who according to Abid Ansari is a ‘black-mailer’, ‘back biter’, and ‘BJP man.’
“I was shocked when Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti appointed Pirzada Mansoor Hussain as the vice chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Board. This man in league with Nayeem Akhtar sowed the seeds of animosity that led to the ouster of Syed Altaf Bukhari, Javaid Mustafa Mir, Abdul Majeed Padru and Muhammad Ashraf Mir from Council of Ministers. Pirzada Mansoor knows the job well how to widen the gap between party legislators and workers,” Abid Ansari told news gathering agency CNS.
Pertinently, Syed Altaf Bukhari, Javaid Mustafa Mir, Abdul Majeed Padru and Muhammad Ashraf Mir were dropped from the Cabinet after Mehbooba Mufti assumed the charge of Chief Minister in Jammu and Kashmir after the death of her father Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.
Abid Ansari said that Pirzada Mansoor was an ordinary employee at SKIMS and by hook or crook he rose to a position where he is draining the resources of state exchequer. “Currently, he is handling Khadi and Village Industries Board and soon people will see, how scams and scandals will surface in the Khadi Board,” he said and added that Pirzada Mansoor and Nayeem Akhtar have brought the party on the verge of destruction.
“It is Nayeem Akhtar and Pirzada Mansoor who are calling shots in the party and it is because of these two persons that Imran Raza Ansari was not allocated a new port folio. Both these men can’t compete with Imran Raza Ansari who has a great stature. These men will feel the heat when Srinagar will go for polls for Parliament seat,” he said.
Abid Ansari alleged that Nayeem Akhtar ruined the Department of Education. He said that the employees from this department celebrated his removal. “Mark my words, like employees from Education department now the contractors and the PWD employees will hit to roads and will blame Akhtar for mess which he is going to create in the department now,” Ansari claimed.
“Our Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti feels that both Nayeem Akhtar and Pirzada Mansoor are assets to the party though we repeatedly informed her about the anti-party activities that these two persons indulged into. Time will soon come when she will realize and show door to them,” he said and added that both Akhtar and Pirzada destroyed the party that late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed founded with hard work and hard labour.
Abid Ansari told CNS that Nayeem Akhtar never supported or assisted any party legislator or worker. “Akhtar spends much time with non-party men. He is always surrounded by sycophants and mostly he is busy in appeasing BJP men. Till date, he has never solved any problem of any PDP worker. The irony is that for a ‘transfer’ Akhtar used to consult Commissioner Secretary,” he said.
Responding to a question, PDP legislator Abid Ansari said that he and Imran Ansari will not leave the party but will identify the ‘culprits’ like Akhtar and Pirzada to strengthen the party.
