Begum Sharifa, a mother of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesperson and former media consultant to Jammu and Kashmir government, Suhail Bukhari, breathed her last after a brief illness.
In a statement issued here, Peoples Democratic Party has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Bukhari’s mother and prayed for the departed soul.
“The entire party leadership and cadre are with the family of Bukhari at this hour of grief”, the statement reads adding, “We pray to Almighty to grant the departed soul the highest place in heaven and courage to the family to bear the irreparable loss”.
The deceased will be remembered for her lifelong contribution for the service of poor and downtrodden, said the statement.
