During their visit, the delegation met with the affected families to understand their immediate needs and assured them of the party’s full support during this difficult time. The leaders emphasised the need for urgent relief measures to address the pressing challenges faced by the victims, particularly with the harsh winter approaching.

A statement issued by the party reads that the party has tasked the local leadership with the responsibility to organise and distribute relief material, including essential food supplies, medicines, and winter clothing, to the displaced families. Speaking on the occasion, Senior Leader Khursheed Alam said, “The PDP is committed to standing with the people in times of crisis. Our immediate focus is on providing basic necessities to those who have lost everything in this tragic incident.”

The party also appealed to the government to step in and extend all possible humanitarian assistance to the affected families. “We urge the administration to take swift and effective measures to help the victims rebuild their lives. The government must ensure timely rehabilitation and provide the necessary resources to rebuild homes and livelihoods,” the delegation stated.
