PDP’s former zonal president Kangan Ghulam Mohammad Dar has joined Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP). Chairman Welfare Committee Ahmadnagar Buchpora, Srinagar Bashir Ahmad Khan has also followed suit, an AIP statement said.
AIP said a special meeting was held under Chairmanship of Party President and MLA Langate Engineer Rashid in which AIP Candidate from Srinagar Rashid Rahil also participated. During the meeting PDP Former Zonal President Kangan Ghulam Mohammad Dar along with other prominent citizens joined AIP. Ghulam Mohammad Dar had contested on PDP ticket in 2002 Assembly Polls and bagged impressive number of votes.
