Massive Traffic jam has blocked entrance from the south side into the Srinagar City due to the huge public gathering at Sheri Kashmir Cricket Stadium Sonwar, where People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is celebrating its ‘raising day’.
The commuters say that they are stuck in jam from last two hours.
“Right after crossing Pampore Traffic Jam started and after two hours I managed to reach Sonawar where I am still stuck,” said a passenger while speaking to Kashmir Life.
Even the two wheelers are stuck in the jam.
One commuter who had to come from Pampore to Lal Chowk said she was dropped by Sumo driver at Batwara wherefrom she walked on foot to reach her office.
Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and other party brass will be attending the function.
