First timer, PDP’s Sheikh Noor Muhammad secured 12542 while sitting NC MLA Irfan Shah got 8215.
A contractor by profession, considered to be right hand of PDP MP Tariq Karra, Sheikh was PDP’s zonal president in Srinagar.
