PDP leader Vikram Singh Monday demanded fresh probe in the year old case of fake silver and gold ornaments allegedly offered by devotees at Katra’s Shri Mata Vashino Devi Shrine.
“The devotees who devote something in the name of Mata Rani Ji will never offer fake silver and gold ornaments,” he said, “but the whole ornaments found fake is a high class scandal involving ‘Allaha Adhikari’ of shrine board.”
Singh demanded a committee should be furnished and fresh enquiry should be headed by CBI to “prove this high class scandal of fake ornaments and put the culprits behind the bar as soon as possible”.
