PDP General Secretary Nizamudin Bhat Friday said that J&K State has finally got a credible alternative in PDP which will lead its people to political stability, regional integration and economic growth.
In a statement, he recalled the commitment and continuous struggle of party workers to earn the party this enviable position. He hoped that PDP’s agenda of peace, resolution and development will be carried forward undeterred and with fidelity.
“Party restructuring is in process under the guidance of party president Mehbooba Mufti and as usual the committed cadre will get its due place to serve the party and people of the state with a sincere and honest objective,” he said.
Bhat enumerated various “people friendly” programmes which the PDP led government has taken in hand at the outset. He said that in this the relief and rehabilitation of flood victims, rebuilding of infrastructure and economic development is gaining appreciably due priority. He said that he is confident that government will streamline the derailed system, do-away with the menace of corruption and will ensure a responsive and transparent administration without any delay.
