A delegation of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Thursday visited the residence of two bereaved families including senior Hurriyat (g) leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan and senior Hurriyat (m) leader, Professor Abdul Gani Bhat.
Father of Nayeem Khan and brother of Professor Abdul Gani Bhat passed away on Wednesday.
The delegation comprising of Nizamuddin Bhat, MLC Saif-ud-din Bhat, Irshad Ahmad Kar, Abdul Hamid Kosheen, Imtiyaz Shan and Javaid Ahmad Dar expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
While expressing grief over their demise, the delegation prayed for the patience to the bereaved families and said, “We equally share their pain.” (KNS)
