SRINAGAR: PDP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) which met virtually on Sunday empowered party President Mehbooba Mufti to take a call on the all party meeting invitation sent by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to J&K’s 14 leaders.

“The PAC met today on the directions of our party president Mehbooba Mufti and after giving due thought, we have decided that Mehbooba ji should take on a call on the said matter” a senior leader part of the meeting told Kashmir Life.

Furthemore, the senior leader said that she is likely to attend the meeting.

As many 14 invites have been sent for the PM’s meeting, scheduled on 24th June at his residence in the national capital.

The invitation has been sent to NC’S Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah; PDP’s Mehbooba Mufti; Congress’s Ghulam Nabi Azad, G.A Mir, Tara Chand; BJP’s Kavinder Gupta, Ravinder Raina, Nirmal Singh; Peoples Conferences’s Sajad Lone and Muzaffar Hussain Baigh; Apni Party’s Altaf Bukhari; NPP’s Prof Bheem Singh, and CP(M)’s M.Y Tarigami.

Moreover, the Peoples Conference has decided to meet tomorrow to discuss the invite, while as the National Conference is scheduled to meet today and the People’s Alliance of Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) is also scheduled to meet within the next two to three days.
