SRINAGAR: A pedestrian was injured on Tuesday after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in the Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar.
Police identified the injured as Sushil Pal, son of Reshi Pal, a resident of Uttarakhand. He was taken to JVC Hospital, where doctors said his condition is stable.
Following the incident, police registered a case at the Police Station Sadar. “Efforts are underway to trace the vehicle and identify the driver involved in the accident,” police said.
Traffic police teams have also been alerted to examine CCTV footage from the area to help in the investigation. [KNT]
