SRINAGAR: A 50-year-old man from Budgam district who was injured in a road accident on Thursday succumbed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital Srinagar on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Dar, son of Ghulam Ahmad, a resident of Kachwari Khansahib.
Dar sustained critical injuries after being hit by a Tata-mobile in his native village. He was first taken to Sub District Hospital Khansahib and later referred to SMHS Srinagar for specialised treatment, where he succumbed today.
Police said they have taken cognisance of the incident. (KNT)
