Outpatient consultation in Pediatric Surgery for children of the valley will start from January 3, 2013 in GB Pant Hospital, Srinagar.
The consultation process is going to start after Dr A Rashid has been posted in GB Pant Hospital after being appointed recently as consultant Pediatric surgery for the superspecialty hospital of Government Medical College Srinagar.
Earlier Dr Rashid served as Consultant pediatric Surgeon at SKIMS, Srinagar for more than two years.
According to Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Muneer Masoodi, fast track preparations are being made to make Neonatal surgeries possible at the earliest in GB Pant Hospital. “This will be first step towards establishing a state of the art pediatric surgical facility in the largest hospital for children in the state,” said Dr Masoodi.
