In the much publicized case of former Minister of State for Home Sajad Ahmed Kitchloo allegedly slapping the Chief Executive Officer of Kishtwar Development Authority, Principal Sessions Judge, Kishtwar, Pawan Dev Kotwal Monday dismissed the revision petition filed by SHO Police Station Kishtwar against the order of Chief Judicial Magistrate, who has directed the police to register FIR and conduct the investigation as per CrPC.

After hearing Public Prosecutor R K Goswami and going through the revision petition, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “the law laid down by Full Bench of Allahabad High Court squarely applies in the present case. The impugned order is interlocutory and not amenable to revisional jurisdiction as such present petition is not maintainable and is liable to be dismissed”.

Accordingly, Principal Sessions Judge dismissed the revision petition filed against the order of CJM.
