Former Prime Minister and then Chief Minister Shaikh Mohammad Abdullah led Plebiscite Front leader from Kishtwar, Sher Mohammad Bazdar, died on last Monday. He was 84-year-old. He was not keeping well for long now.
Sher Mohammad Bazdar remained associated with Plebiscite Front for more than 20 years and served jail term along with late Bashir Ahmed Kichloo and other Plebiscite Front leaders in Bhaderwah jail.
The deceased is survived by wife, sister, two sons and two daughters.
On Thursday, large number of leaders and party workers of National Conference in Kishtwar arrived at the house of deceased and conveyed their heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.
Special prayers (Fateh Khawani) were also held on the occasion for the peace of the departed soul.
Former Minister and MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo while paying tributes to the departed soul said that the death of Sher Mohammad Bazdar was a personal setback to him as they have lost a good well-wisher.
