SRINAGAR: The All Jammu and Kashmir Plumbers Association has expressed gratitude to the LG administration for acknowledging their concerns.
Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Chairman of the association, highlighted the issue, stating, “We brought up the matter with the authorities, urging them to address the illicit actions of certain PHE employees. Instead of fulfilling their duties, these individuals were encroaching on the work of private plumbers, adversely affecting their livelihood.”
He further noted that the LG administration has taken action by issuing a circular that prohibits such employees from engaging in private work during their duty hours.
