SRINAGAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said he received a phone call from United States President Donald Trump, during which both leaders reviewed progress in India–US relations across multiple sectors.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between India and the United States.
He stated that both countries remain committed to deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
During the conversation, the leaders also discussed the situation in West Asia and emphasized the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and secure.
