Speaking at Changlimethang Ground in Thimphu, Bhutan, Modi said Indian agencies would “get to the bottom of this conspiracy” and that the perpetrators “will not be spared.”

The Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow over the incident, extending condolences to the bereaved families and affirming that the entire nation stands with the victims. He added that he remained in touch with investigative agencies throughout the night to monitor developments.

The blast occurred on Monday evening when a Haryana-registered vehicle exploded near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, prompting high-alerts across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mumbai. Security was heightened around crowded public places and religious sites in response.

Modi’s remarks came during his two-day visit to Bhutan, where he was warmly received by Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay. The Prime Minister highlighted the centuries-old spiritual and cultural ties between India and Bhutan, noting the visit’s significance despite the tragedy in the national capital.
