SRINAGAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended greetings to people across the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, expressing hope that the festival would strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and bring happiness to society.
Eid-ul-Azha, also known as Bakrid, was celebrated across most parts of India on Thursday with prayers and traditional observances.
In a post on X, Modi conveyed his wishes and prayed for the wellbeing of all citizens.
“Eid-ul-Adha greetings! May this occasion deepen the spirit of brotherhood and happiness in our society. Praying for everyone’s success and good health,” the Prime Minister said.
