A Public Negotiation Committee (PNC) meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Mohammad Younis Malik.
The spokesman said committee cleared and sanctioned 6 road projects under PMGSY in Bijbehara, Kokernag constituencies. The road projects include Sirhama, Mehand, Sultanpora, Banderpora, Mirgund, Chandpora, Nanil and Poru-Gohihard road being constructed/upgraded under PMGSY.
The committee sanctioned land acquisition costs of Rs.7 lacs per Kanal at Poru-Gohihard Rs.8.70 lacs per Kanal at Sirhama, Rs.8.50 lacs per Kanal at Mehand, Rs.10.50 lacs per Kanal at Sultanpora, 10.10 lacs per Kanal for the villages of Mirgund, Banderpora, Chandpora and Rs.10 lacs per Kanal at village Nanil.
