Kulgam police on Sunday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 18 grams of brown sugar from his possession.
The spokesman said Police party of Kulgam police laid a naka near Upper Bazar Qazigund. During Naka checking, a suspected person, identified as Shahzad Ahmad Padder alias Shahlal son of Gull Mohammad Padder resident of Malwan Devsar was intercepted. During his personal search 18, grams of brown sugar was recovered from his possession.
In this regard police station, Qazigund has registered a case FIR number 121/2018 under section 8/21 NDPS Act and further investigations have been taken up.
