Srinagar police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested four gamblers and recovered rupees 12,400 stake money from their possession.
According to a police spokesman, acting on a specific information, Police Station Nowhatta raided a gambling site at Malkha and arrested four gamblers along with stake money of Rs 12,400 and gambling cards from the gambling spot.
In this connection, a case FIR No 39/2018 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigations were taken up.
Meanwhile, Police destroyed a Bung cultivation in Sopore town of Baramulla and Islamabad district
