Police on Saturday evening arrested dozens of gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 2,72000 along with the bundle of cards from the gambling spot.
On Saturday evening police raided two hotels in health resort Sonamarg area of Gund of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and arrested dozens of gamblers from the hotels. Police have also recovered stake money of rupees 2, 72000 from their possession.
I this regard, police have registered a case under FIR number 16,17/2018 U/S 2/3 Gambling Act and further investigations have been taken up.
