Srinagar police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a cheater impersonating as vigilance commissioner.
The impersonator namely Javed Akhtar, son of Abul Kalam and his wife Nishat Akhtar, residents of House no F-82, G-10, Jawaher Park Lakashmi Nager, Delhi East who was impersonating as vigilance commissioner and was wanted in case FIR no 40/2018 under section 419, 420, 120B RPC of Police Station Rajbagh. Further investigation of the case is under progress, the police spokesman in a statement said.
The general public is requested that if anyone has any grievance or has been cheated or duped by them may report in Police Station Rajbagh for the resolution of their matters.
