SRINAGAR: Police arrested two notorious drug peddlers and seized contraband during a checkpoint operation in Sopore.
The two suspects, Muzafar Ahmad Marazi and Ishfaq Ahmad Lone, were caught with five grams of heroin-like substance. Marazi is a repeat offender with multiple cases under the NDPS Act.
A case has been registered, and investigation has started. Police have urged the public to report any drug-related activities and assured the community that strict action will be taken against criminals to combat the drug menace. (KINS)
