Police have arrested Irshad Ahmed Rangreez while he was on way home after spending nearly two decades across the LoC. He was accompanying his wife and children. Rangrez was arrested near Chenani area on Kishtwar-Doda-Jammu road.
A resident of Doda, Rangreez is reported to have cross over to Pakistan in 1995. He married Sumara Begum of Peshawar and had three children.
Police said Rangreez and his family used Nepal route to infiltrate into India from where they travelled to Jammu. His family members were identified as Maroof (10 year), Abeba (6 year) and Ahmed (4 year). The family is in police custody.
