Kulgam police on Saturday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 22 kilograms of cannabis material (Bhung) in powdered form his possession.
The spokesman said Police party of Police Post Frisal, Yaripora during Naka checking arrested a drug peddler identified as Abdul Gani, a resident of Frisal and recovered 22 kilograms of cannabis from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No 15/2018 under 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Yaripora and further investigations have been taken up.
