As per a police spokesperson Kulgam police in a joint operation with 9 RR and 18 Bn CRPF arrested a LeT OGW at village Owgam Laroo, Kulgam and recovered arms and an IED from his possession.
A statement reads that Kulgam police on a tip off launched a search operation in village Owgam Laroo, Kulgam. During the searches, an OGW of LeT outfit, Fayaz Ahmad lone @Harris @ Hyder son of Gull Mohammad Lone resident of Owgam Kulgam was apprehended. On his instance police recovered a Chinese Pistol, one Magazine with six pistol rounds, an IED weighing about five Kgs from a field.
Meanwhile Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.
