Police arrested three persons including father of four children in nocturnal raids at Sugan village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

The raids were conducted in the village two days after an army Casper vehicle was hit with an IED near the village injuring three soldiers.

Later government allegedly vandalised several houses including the house of Hizb commander Zeenat-ul-Islam and damaged many Apple orchards.

Sources identified the detained persons as Altaf Ahmad Seh son of Ghulam Muhammad Seh, Gazi Muhammad Bhat son of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat and Farooq Ahmad Najar son of Noor Muhammad Najar. They said that Farooq Ahmad is a father of four children.
