Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested two absconders in Jammu who had been evading arrest for several years.
A police spokesperson in a statement said that a police party led by SHO Miran Sahib traced and arrested two absconders.
“One of them, namely, Mohd Beniya @ Nappu S/O Hakim Din R/O Marallian had been evading arrest in Case FIR No. 11/2003 U/S 188 RPC, S. 3 of PC Act of P/S Jajhar Kotli. The warrant for his arrest had been issued by the learned Munsiff(Forest) JMIC, Jammu,” said the spokesman.
“The other absconder, Maninder Singh @ Mani, S/O Kulwant Singh, R/O Makhanpur, Simbal had been evading arrest in Case FIR No. 153/2015 U/S 341/323/34 RPC of P/S Miran Sahib. The warrant for his arrest had been issued by the Addl. Special Mobile Magistrate, R S Pura,” said police spokesman in a statement.
