SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two hybrid militants associated with the Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
During an operation, the security forces recovered three grenades and one pistol preventing potential attacks.
“Hybrid militants are individuals who maintain an ordinary appearance but engage in or assist with militant activities, making them challenging to detect,” an official said, adding that the operation reflects the relentless efforts of security forces to combat terrorism in the region.
