Police Attaches Immovable Property of Militant Associate Under UAPA in South Kashmir

   

KASHMIR: Jammu and Kashmir Police has attached a double-storied residential property belonging to Ilyas Ahmad Dar son of Mohd Shafi Dar resident of Wandina Melhoura. The attachment was carried out under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA).

“The property registered under Khasra No. 115 in Wandina village, is valued at Rs. 24,09221/. The attachment has been officially recorded in the revenue records, and the necessary legal notices prohibiting its sale or transfer have been duly issued under the provisions of the UAPA,” a police spokesperson in a statement said.

This action is linked to Case FIR No. 94/2024 of Police Station Zainapora and was executed in the presence of a duly constituted police team and the Executive Magistrate, ensuring full compliance with legal procedures.
