SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district booked one person under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.
As per a Police statement, the booked person identified as Bashir Ahmad Beigh son of Ghulam Mohiuddin resident of Shirpora Chandoosa Baramulla has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Srinagar after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
Pertinent to mention that many cases are registered against him and was involved in disturbance of L&O and subversion, it said.
“Despite his involvement in many FIRs, he did not mend his anti-national and anti-social activities,” the police said.
