Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said it submitted Chargesheet in a Case FIR No 281/2019 of Police Station Handwara.
A police spokesman in a statement said that the FIR pertains to the incident dated 26.10.2019 wherein a lady was apprehended at a checkpoint with threatening posters of proscribed militant outfit LeT and other incriminating material at Market Handwara and accordingly she was booked in Case FIR No. 281/2020 of PS Handwara under relevant sections of law.
“ After the conclusion of the investigation, chargesheet was filed before the competent Court under relevant sections of law by Handwara Police after obtaining necessary Government sanction for prosecution,” he said.
“The Chargesheet has been filed against Haseena Begum resident of Sheeri Baramulla for being a member of militant outfit LeT, and harbouring terrorists and lending support to the proscribed terrorist organization,” the spokesman said.
