Police on Saturday filed a case against a private hospital owner for misusing letter pads of a doctor in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A police spokesman in a statement said Police Station Handwara received a complaint from a doctor namely, Shafqat Rasool Wani stating that he was practicing as a consultant at Asif Memorial clinic Handwara in the year 2016 and left the clinic in the same year.
“However, the Nursing Home run by Kouser Bakshi is still consulting/treating the patients by using his letter pads,” the spokesman said.
In this connection, a Case FIR No 124/20 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Handwara and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
