Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have foiled a bid by the militants to loot a bank in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
“Militants appeared at the Bugam branch of J&K Bank in Kulgam and tried to loot the public money.” Police said.
“The alert forces personnel present there foiled their attempt and the robbers fled away from the spot. A manhunt has been launched to nab the perpetrators,” they added.
