Police on Saturday said that it has constituted a special investigation team (SIT) to search for the missing police official in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
A police official told GNS that the SIT headed by a senior sub Inspector has been constituted to launch searches for ASI Mohammad Shafi Parray resident of Wussan, Kangan who went missing from his home on 26th evening.
“A large scale search operation by three teams of police and a team from SDRF conducting search for the missing person in the nearby forests, villages and river Sindh”, he said.
Special teams have also been deputed to adjoining villages to get the information about the missing police official by all possible means. Search operations will continue till the whereabouts of the missing are not known, the official said.
