Police Identifies Fourth Person In Shopian Incident As ‘Abdullah Haroon’

Police Friday claimed that the unidentified person killed in Shopian firing was Lashkar millitant.

According to local news agency KNS, Inspector General Of Police Kashmir Range, Abdul Gani Mir said in the press conference that it has been established that the identity of the fourth as Abdullah Haroon who along with other militants had come from North Kashmir to south Kashmir last October.

He also said although there was no militancy related previous record of the locals killed. However, brother of Tariq Ahmed of Okay was a militant and killed in an encounter and brother of Mohammad Yusuf got killed while crossing the LOC, wile as Towseef Ahmed was under detention in stone pelting cases.

In reply to another query he said that Tariq and Yousuf who were accompanying the Pakistani terrorist were not on an excursion.
