World Diabetes Day observed at Police Hospital PCR Kashmir.
“On World Diabetes Day Police Hospital Srinagar under the supervision of Dr Fouzia Habib, Medical Superintendent organized a Diabetes Awareness cum screening camp in the premises of Police Hospital. A number of police personnel and their family members attended the programme. In this programme besides free screening, symptoms, treatment and preventive measures of the said disease were discussed,” a police statement said Sunday afternoon.
On the occasion, Physician of Police Hospital Dr Feroz Ahmad, Dr Huma Noor and other experts presented their informative presentations, explaining the details about the disease and its effects, treatment and prevention, the statement said.
Meanwhile the statement said that one person was injured in a road accident in Bandipora.
In Bandipora, an I-10 car bearing registration number JK01A/0455 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Samad Khan resident of Kanlibagh Aloosa at Ashtangoo. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
